| On 28th May 2019, we have just finished hanlding a meaningfull shipments from Alibaba Philanthropy to some primary shools in Cambodia. Most of them are located in remote areas and most children have miserable life.
Within 4 days, we deliver 1263 cartons to 26 primary shools in 6 provinces and city as Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Speu, Kampot, Phnom Penh, Preah Sihanouk, Siem Reap.
Separating from three of forty feet container, we allocated and arranged truck 1 ton, 1.5 tons, 5 tons and 8 tons to deliver to different destinations.
After shipment arrived to Phnom Penh port and finished making custom clearance, all containers were deliverred to warehouse for storing and classifying. One of the most challenges is road condition since the infracstructure of some locations is not good enough for truck moving, so we have to consider and arrange the most suitable truck. In addition, we have to devide exactly the packages as customer’s requirement to deliver correctly.
Nevertheless, all of these does matter as we can see the smile on the faces of children. We are pleased and proud to contribute to this significant work. May we on behalf of children to say thanks to the sponsors and our customer, and hope we can have more jobs like that.
