“After the success of delivering safely and timely for the first donation shipment of Alibaba Philanthropy, our customer continue trusting and consigning us to handle second shipment to more primary schools in Cambodia
The volume increases double against last shipment, specifically from 1263 cartons to 2525 cartons. During 21st to 28th Aug, we delivered cargoes to 10 provinces including Kompong Cham, Tbong Khmom, Kandal, Prey Veng, Preah Vihea, Kompong Spue, Pursat, Battambong, Siemriep, Kompong Thom. We are so happy that more primary schools and more children have received donation gifts this time.
Six 40 feet containers was delivered and moved to warehouse to separate before delivering to 75 schools. As similar as the last shipment, most of them are located in remote areas, so we have consider to arrange which kind of trucks used. In addition, we have to investigate the location of these primary schools to combine deliver, then calculate how to load to minimize the cost and unload smoothly.
Especially, there is Toulnieng Say Primary School in Kampong Thom, Kompong Svay District located in a small island. Despite of geographical difficulty, we rent boat to bring these packages to there.
Everything goes as good as we expect. As we have said: “That is the way we find more meaning in work”, the smiles in the children’s face bring us happiness. On behalf of these children, we want to say thanks again to the sponsor and our customer to choose us to handle this shipment. |
